Frequently Asked Questions 1. What does "Two Fold" mean for this mat's size or construction? It refers to the mat's construction, which folds in half rather than needing multiple folds, making it quicker to store or carry. 2. Is the indigo block print colorfast, or will it fade with washing? The block print is hand-applied using traditional dyeing methods. It's generally stable under normal use, though like most block-printed textiles, gentle care helps the color last longer. 3. How is this different from the Madur Mat Single with Cushion? Both include a cushion and are handwoven from madurkathi. This version adds a hand block-printed indigo pattern and a two-fold construction, while the Single with Cushion features a kalamkari-style paisley print and a single-fold design. 4. Is this suitable for outdoor use, like a balcony or garden reading nook? It's best suited for indoor use or covered outdoor spaces, since prolonged sun and moisture exposure can affect the block-printed fabric over time.
