Product details
The Brass Davara Tumbler Matt Set is a single South Indian coffee cup set in plain matt brass. It has one brass davara and one brass tumbler, each with a small engraved veena. A neem wood spoon and a Madur grass coaster come with it. Everything is packed in our Brahmamudi – The Unbroken Line gift box.
The brass has a soft, brushed finish with no paint or enamel, so it looks simple and classic. This is the plainest and most traditional of our single davara tumbler gifts. It suits Diwali gifting for one person, and corporate gifting when you need one gift per person on a long list.

Frequently Asked Questions
•
How is this different from the Matt Davara Tumbler Set of 2?
That set has two davara tumblers, two spoons, two coasters and a brew guide in the larger Suprabhatam box. This set has one of each in the smaller Brahmamudi box.
•
Which single Brahmamudi set should I choose: Matt, Kolam or Elephant?
Choose Matt for plain brass with a veena. Choose Kolam for red enamel with white kolam motifs. Choose Elephant for a cream base with flowers and elephants.
•
Is the veena engraved or printed?
It is engraved into the brass, so it won’t wash off or fade with daily use.
•
Why is the davara bigger than the tumbler?
The davara holds 180 ml and the tumbler holds 120 ml. The extra room lets you pour coffee back and forth to cool it without spilling.
•
Will the matt finish change with use?
Over time, handling can give the brass a slightly brighter look in places. This is natural, and many people like how the brass ages.
•
Is this a good welcome gift for new employees?
Yes. It is useful, traditional and compact. It fits easily into a joining kit and can stay on the employee’s desk or at home.
