Kansa Thali Set Lehri (Bronze Dinner Plate Set) | Handcrafted Dinnerware from West Bengal

A handcrafted Kansa thali set rooted in tradition, made for everyday meals that feel simple and balanced. A Kansa Thali Set is a traditional bronze dinner plate set made using a specific blend of copper and tin. In India, kansa has been used for centuries as everyday dinnerware because of its durability and its link to Ayurveda.  This thali is handcrafted by West Bengal artisans, using the 78:22 copper–tin ratio mentioned in ancient texts. Each piece is shaped by hand, not cast in a factory mould. The result is a dining plate set that feels solid, balanced, and made to last for years. If you want to understand how this metal works and why it is still relevant today, you can read about the health benefits of kansa metal. Product Highlights • Authentic 78:22 Kansa Alloy - Made using the traditional mix of 78% copper and 22% tin. This ratio gives the plate its strength, weight, and characteristic dull golden tone. • Handcrafted in West Bengal - Each kansa thali is hand-hammered by artisans from the Kansari community. No two thalis are identical. • Naturally Antimicrobial Surface - Copper in kansa helps reduce microbial growth on the surface, making it a safer choice for everyday meals. • Designed for Daily Indian Meals - The wide plate works well for serving rice, roti, curries, and sides in a single thali set. • Strong and Long-Lasting - This is not a thin or decorative plate. It is a solid bronze dinner plate set meant for regular use. • Traditional Sound and Finish - Kansa has a unique ring when tapped. It is a sign of correct composition and proper handcrafting. • Thali Set Comprises of:  A kansa plate (thali), 2 katoris (bowl), and a glass made from bell metal (Kansa).
