The gift also includes two neem wood spoons, two Madur grass coasters and a brew guide. Everything comes packed in our Suprabhatam – Raaga of the Dawn gift box.

Frequently Asked Questions
•
How is this different from the Kolam Davara Tumbler Set?
Both come in the same Suprabhatam box. This set is plain matt brass. The Kolam set has red enamel on the outside with white kolam patterns.
•
Why is one set engraved with a veena?
The veena ties the set to the box's theme of morning ragas and Carnatic music. The second set carries the Kansa & Clay Heritage Kitchen logo, so the two can be told apart.
•
Can I pair this with a coffee filter?
Yes. Our Brass Filter Container Set has a matching matt brass filter and a coffee powder container. Together, the two sets make a complete filter coffee gift.
•
Do the tumblers need a tin (kalai) lining?
No. Brass davara tumblers are traditionally used without kalai for serving coffee, tea or milk. Just don't store drinks in them for many hours.
•
Can the davara be used on its own?
Yes. The davara works as a small bowl for chutney, curd, payasam or dry fruits. Many families use it that way between coffee breaks.
•
How should I store the set?
Dry each piece fully and nest the tumbler inside the davara. Keep them in a dry cupboard. Moisture makes brass darken faster.
